Musical Interlude: Owner of a Lonely Heart (1983)

The British art-rock band Yes plunged headlong into the MTV era with one of the most unusual and provocative videos of the early 80's with "Owner of a Lonely Heart".

Edit, 6/2/21: Had to change the video again. This clip runs about 6+ minutes and explains the shape-changing the band performs. Hmmm. This could've worked as an animated video......!

I have always loved this song and the video! Both are as timely as ever!

It's probably one of the few music videos from the era that doesn't seem too far out of place today.

I've always loved the video's message of "going against the grain" and fighting for your freedom. At least, that's what I got out of it!

It also had some of the worst staged fights in cinematic history......
